We have decided to offer one exceptional person a one year internship with The Money Gym. This is the deal, if you have any questions or comments, please use the comments box to ask them here.
One energetic, bright, quick, action orientated, IT literate “Superstar” is to be offered the chance to work with Europe’s best wealth creation education company.
You give us your all for a year, and we teach you everything we can!
You will then either go off to work for someone else (at a very high salary because you will be so valuable), you can start your own business or become a highly paid freelance consultant who can expect to command upwards of £1000 per day.
You are ideally UK based within easy reach of London, and either living at home or financially independent. You are desperate to learn how the whole world of wealth creation, property investing, internet marketing, event organising works, and you are outgoing, friendly and unflappable. You have a good computer and already use some of the Social Networking sites and are able to upload a short video to YouTube.
We are fast, fun, friendly and expect very high standards – we work hard and love what we do, and expect you to, too!
Your “can-do” attitude and positivity will be infectious and you will have already demonstrated some success in your life, be that at school, work or in helping others.
Attitude is more important than experience and you would by no means describe yourself as “fluffy”.
What else do you need to know from us in order to be able to convince us you are the right person for this fantastic opportunity?
We will be inviting you to upload a video to YouTube to tell us why you want the gig, but first, we want to see if we have covered everything in order to be able to attract the right person.
Sorry to say that I’m not currently financially independent, bit of a catch-22 really as that is what I am aiming for and I know this opportunity would help me get there, but for the time being I need to support myself financially and wouldn’t be able to give full time hours to the post. Hope you find someone great!
Hi Otis,
First of all, this is completely different because Debbie won a year’s Gold coaching as a client, but gets to work with me for her sins (rather than one of our wonderful coaches).
Whoever wins the internship, will be working with, and for us, so learning to do stuff for us/The Money Gym, which they can then after the year is up, go onto do for others (as a job or consultancy basis) or set up their own business, doing it for themselves.
Debbie Winterbourne is still going strong and we are up to Month 4 of her coaching now. She reports in to the Money Gym Mastermind Google Group regularly, and if you do a search in the archive, on her name, you will find her reports to date.
We are also recording each session and making the first sessions of each month (my presentation on each module) available to Silver Elite and Gold members (as they have access to Silver and Silver Elite too).
The second session of each month is more about coaching Debbie, and I’ve yet to decide if there would be any value in making those calls available – we probably will. Again to Silver Elite and Gold members.
As your dad is “Gold For Life” as are all our ex-Gold clients (and the ex-Platinum ones too) he will have access to all of the above for as long as he wants it.
Warm regards
Nicola
Hi Nicola
I a 21, who has just left Durham University early after being inspired by books from the progressive boys and Rich dad poor dad. Having always hated reading I have found this 3 books amazing and managed to polish them off in about a month.
I would love this opportunity of a life time, I saw you speak at one of the Win investment days. and I would love to be able to acquire just a couple of your skills. I have had a bit of experience with the world wide web helping my mother develop her business. I am also reasonable proficient with a computer I have designed a program for my mother to calculate her sales and stock taking. I do also have an interesting website idea that I would be interested to hear your views on.
I am currently self employed, looking for a properties for buy to let in the Durham area and doing a bit of spread betting on the side.
I would absolutely love this opportunity. Please email me and we can have a chat about it.
James
Hello Nicola,
How are you? This sounds like a great opportunity and I would definitely like to talk to you further to see if it would be suitable, both for you and for me! Please do let me know the details of the webinar interview once it is arranged.
Thank you,
Soul
Hi Nicola
Thank you for answering all of my questions. A couple of areas that I am really interested in is copy writing and web design, so if there is scope for me to do something in those areas that would be great.
I will look forward to the interview process!
Thanks,
Jodie
Hi Nicola
My vote is obviously whole-heartedly for Jodie, but I’m dying to know what the next steps are and who your intern will be.
VERY Exciting!
Cheers
Shaun
Dear All
I’m afraid we have come to a grinding halt with this!
We have a load of plans for 2010 but we can’t work out how best to work with an intern. Judith is happy to supervise and liaise but neither Steve nor I have the time nor inclination to train anyone.
This has got to be the classic Catch-22 of most fast growing businesses – they need help, and they know they could do so much more if they had help, but don’t have time to train help.
Could the answer be to take on someone that does not need training but is already proficient in the tasks needing doing?
We will ponder a bit more and come back to you all!
Cheers
Nicola
Oh no… that’s really disappointing. So – you’re looking for an employee instead of an intern?
Well… what tasks need doing?
Shaun
Dear Shaun
I’m intrigued now, what is your perception of the difference between an employee and an intern?
My perception is that an employee gets paid because they have skills already, while and intern is not paid because they are learning on the job.
Love to hear more!
Nicola
Hi Nicola
Yes – I do believe that our perceptions are the same. 🙂
