Now the best thing of all is that you can do what’s called A/B split testing or divert split testing.
Divert split testing is when you actually create a second version of your page and you send half the traffic or a third of the traffic, you can decide how much traffic you send, to the second page.
Why might you want to do that? Well, I would think if you were split testing prices, for example, it would be a better idea to have a second version of the page and use the divert split testing rather than using the A/B split testing, which I’ll talk about in my next video.
Why would you want to split test prices? Because you might be astonished that the higher price might convert better.
So start by testing two different prices and see how many people convert on each one and then you would go on and test a third price, whether that’s more expensive or less expensive.
You’ll be amazed, sometimes the higher price sells more.
