Hi, Nicola here and over the next week I’m going to be doing my usual end of year activities which is looking backwards and looking forwards.
Why is this important?
Well unless you stop occasionally and take stock of what you’re doing it’s very easy to get caught up in the busy, busy, busy of everyday.
Psychologically for some reason the end of the year is a great time to do this; it’s a bit like the new school term in September, that’s another good time when we all come back off holidays, except I live where I used to have my holidays, so I don’t do it anymore.
But along with that time of year, it’s a good time at the end of the year to just think…
- What worked?
- What didn’t?
- What did I learn?
- And what am I going to do differently?
And over the next few days I’m going to be sharing my answers to those questions in the hope that it will get you to just take a few minutes, take stock, look back, and decide what’s going to happen for next year.
