Well, it’s got to be all about Kajabi this week! I’m in on the 14 day free trial and I can tell you, I’m pretty blown away by it so far. (Read a more up to date review of Kajabi after a month’s use here >>> )
What is Kajabi?
It’s essentially an incredibly powerful online tool for creating what we have in The Money Gym or Business Success Factory. A membership site, vibrant community, content management system, social networking, searchable knowledge base…..but where we have had to cobble together the “best of” tools in the market for each part, such as Sales Letter Generator, video and audio hosting, WP Wishlist, Google Groups, WordPress, and then hire someone like Steve or a graphic designer to make it all look good, Kajabi does it all for you.
Not only that, but where I’ve had to pay for (and learn to use!) Amazon AWS to host my audio, videos etc, Kajabi takes care of all that for you too – using the same kind of technology. Additionally, it will “crunch” your media so that it can easily be viewed on iPhones & androids, and iPads. This is the future and you ignore it at your peril.
If you a book, or you have lots of content and want to build a totally automated paid membership site / community around that content, but are not particularly techie, Kajabi is definately for you.
But the most powerful part of Kajabi is the ability to create “events” which can be as simple as sales pages (albeit ones with audio or video built in) or as complex as a “product launch formula” type launch for a new product or a relaunch for an existing one.
The entire event/launch process is hooked into your Facebook and Twitter accounts and each piece of content you release for your event, is hooked into the whole social media thing, with the potential to go viral, depending on how good your content is.
Anyone who has paid several thousand pounds for the Product Launch Formula or the recent updated one, as I have, knows how powerful a product launch is, and how much work it is to design one and put it together!

Kajabi – User Review
I have been thinking about moving everything that is currently spread out over several sites, into my BusinessSuccessFactory.co.uk site, for ease of upkeep, but Kajabi allows me seperate “projects” within one account at the second level, which is only $199 a month. So I can have The Money Gym, NicolaCairncross.com AND my Internet Marketing Mentoring all in one place.
And give Sarah and Kelly admin, expert or featured status, so they can go in and do their bits, all from one interface.
As I say, I’m in on the 14 day trial, which won’t be available for ever, but you can still get in for the next 10 days or so, and it’s very intuitive to use (which handy little help icons next to each step).
I sent a ticket to support (about whether you could use one of their sub-domians first then upgrade to your own domain) and got a rely within MINUTES – which is amazing.
The one thing that held me back was that all your content will be on their servers and what happens if anything goes wrong? Well, you could say that about Amazon AWS, and one of the people behind Kajabi is Andy Jenkins who is behind Stompernet and while Stompernet had it’s issues in the early days, it’s still going strong and winning fans.
The other downer is that, once in, they have you locked into those payments. The hassle of moving your stuff or starting again from scratch would be immense. Well, in my opinion, Kajabi is SO incredibly advanced, you won’t be looking to move for years.
The ease of starting and launching new projects within an integrated interface that you will come to know like the back of your hand, will mean that your creativity and productivity will sky-rocket and you won’t WANT to move!

Kajabi – Special Offers & Bonuses
If you want a more detailed review, visit Yaro Starak’s site at http://Entrepreneurs-Journey.com – he’s done an excellent job of reviewing Kajabi and comparing it to other membership site software particularly, and of course, you are welcome to take the free trial via his affiliate link.
Obviously I’ve become an affiliate, as I’m going to be a user myself and it would be mad not to be. But as you can’t sign up for any of these offers via your own affiliate link, I’ve signed up via Yaro’s as he helped me make my mind up. (Note to self: must go check out what his special offer or bonus was!)
However, if you want to try it out via my link, and you stay past the first 14 days, I’m going to offer a VERY SPECIAL BONUS. It’s three monthl membership of my Business Success Factory Internet Marketing Mentoring programme – total value £291 / $436. There is loads of great stuff in there, but the most important bits are
- Quickstart Questionnaire – get really, really focused about your business model
- Quickstart Mentoring Session with me – talk through your Questionnaire and go away with a clear action plan
- 4 x Weekly Live Q&A Mentoring Calls per month – recorded if you can’t make it live
The other advantage you will have is that you will be able to watch what an experienced internet marketer and their team does with Kajabi, from the inside so that you can model it too.
Just send me your first receipt for payment, after the 14 day period expires and I’ll set you up with your BSF membership.

Even if you are not sure yet, go ahead, secure your 14 day free trial and have a play around.

Thanks Nicola, will you lose your websites hirsotical page rank if ou move everything across to Kajabi?
Good question David, and the answer is that I’m not sure. Actually I’m not sure that we will be staying with Kajabi as I’m following their instructions (and the support people are working hard) but we haven’t managed to get the integration with PayPal working seamlessly yet. I’ll report further on this blog soon.
Hi David (and all) Just a quick update on the Kajabi thing – I’ve posted a full review after using it for a month here http://businesssuccessfactory.co.uk/membership-site-software-kajabi-versus-wp-wishlist/ Cheers, Nicola
