I’m talking to you today about feedback versus criticism. Recently, on Own It! the podcast, we had a very robust bit of feedback from a long-time listener, so we had to take notice of what they were saying.
As a result, I wanted to highlight the difference between feedback from customers and clients, which is very valid indeed, and criticism from people who are not doing what you’re doing, have never done what you do, and are never going to do what you do.
You can afford to ignore those people, but DO pay attention to your customers, clients, and your mentor/ coach. Pay attention to who you’re paying attention to.
