Day 10 of the “Making Money From Blogging Duel” and I thought this was going to be even more painful than yesterday in terms of boredom factor, as I just wasn’t in the mood to write a blog post before writing THIS blog post, especially as I’m very aware that it’s time to write my ezine and that will have to be done tomorrow morning after picking the Singing Sister up from her European Tour with the Monteverdi Choir, where she was one of the soloists this time.
There’s only so much writing one girls got in her, in one day!
And then I had the genius thought that one of the affiliate products I had picked might have some pre-written copy that I could re-write in my own style. And so it turned out to be! Subliminal Power supplied a nice little article that could be a blog post, an email in an autoresponder sequence (must talk you about those later!) or anything you want really.
Steve uses this technique a lot if he’s feeling blocked, he gets stuff ghost-written and then edits/rewrites to put his personal touch on it.
Now go check out what Michael Dunlop says about creating an effective affiliate post, in detail, here on his 30 Day Blogging Plan.
Where Are All Your Comments?
I must say, I’m a little disappointed at the lack of questions and comments from you lot. Is nobody following along and creating a money making blog too? I would love some feedback – is there anything you want to know that I’m not covering?
I’m aiming to add value to Michael’s original plan by talking about what I find easy, challenging, boring, fun about creating a blog purely for the purposes of creating passive income. Am I succeeding? Inspiring?
I’m rather proud that I’ve stuck at it so far but have to confess the “30 Blogs in 90 Days” personal challenge I set myself has rather fallen by the wayside. That is because of the challenges around my laptop temporarily dying (everything is taking about three times as long) and also because I’ve been working with the human dynamo that is Mark Donnan of the MoneyMaster System.
Mark and I recorded an info-rich, brand new content, webinar about why we all spend like we do, and why we spend what we do – it was fantastic. But there were issues with the original recording, then I needed to move the pages from The Money Gym to NicolaCairncross.com and it all took THREE TIMES AS LONG.
** Sigh **
But we got there in the end and you can listen to this free MoneyMaster webinar here >>>
