Going, Going Speedily & A Full House In More Ways Than One!
Since our Internet Day last year, and the wildly successful Property Extravagaza, we are really getting a great reputation for our events and every time we announce one, it’s getting easier and easier to fill the room. I was reading through the great testimonials from last time, prior to putting them on the page, and I was moved beyond belief by some of the comments. I love our community!
We’ve still got two weeks to go and we have just opened the bookings to our main mailing list and we have only got just over 100 tickets left – a third have gone already. Martin has mentioned it a couple of times in his ezine, but Brett hasn’t mailed yet, or our joint venture partners, so I’m very confident we are going to sell out well before the 10th Oct.

The other big news this week is that I’ve committed to a date for delivery to Debs & Joe at Bookshaker for the next Money Gym book. I’ve been planning and starting to write this over the last couple of weeks and I’m REALLY REALLY excited and inspired about this…I never knew I had another one in me. I’ve also been going through the existing Money Gym book and bringing it up to date, also adding brand new property and internet chapters. I’m finding that a bit of editing / updating on the old one, inspires me to write more in the new one.
And of course, I’ve learned SO MUCH since I originally wrote the first one, I’m having a hard time not adding loads more new stuff to the old one, which is perfectly fine and works for so many people….so I’m pouring all the new stuff into the new one.
Phew! When I think of Mr Jago, my English teacher at Durrington High School, who said I would never pass O Level English Lang or Lit…what a thrill to think of how pleased and amazed he would be. Bless him.
Change of plans this weekend unexpectedly; I was going to Mark Anastasi’s most excellent sounding Speed Cash Seminar but I’m not able to go now, and so I’m looking forward to X-Factor – it’s the first week of Bootcamp this week. This year’s lineup are very strong, much more so than usual, due to holding the auditions in front of a live audience. You can see my updated Top 20 here (couldn’t keep it to a Top 10)
If you are not tied to your home, or addicted to reality talent TV, then you might want to grab some last minute tickets if they are still around at Earls Court, Saturday and Sunday. Not sure but I’m convinced they are very, very low cost.
Talking of Speed Cash, the new Robert G Allen book (@bestsellerbob for you Tweeples) has just arrived. It’s called “Cash In A Flash” and I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into that. Following the right brain, left brain formula of “One Minute Millionaire” it’s like two books in one. The story of Michelle continues on the right hand side, while the “How To” is on the left hand side.
Now this was interesting!
When I started to read it, sitting on Worthing seafront in the sun, like a little old lady, I found myself really unable to decide which side to read first. Normally I would always go for the story first but I was very drawn to the how to side. Is my brain changing? If so, that surely can only be a good thing?
On the social life front, I’ve got all my Texas NL Hold’em buddies coming round tonight for an all-evening tournament. Fixed buy in at £25, one stack of chips, play till you get knocked out. I won on Monday at the Crown & Anchor and came second last week so I’m feeling fine! I’m going to cook for them too so that’s cool. They think they are getting takeaway (and they may well still have to LOL) but I’m going to try chille con carne for 18. I like cooking, I re-discovered again in Spain. And I’ve got some pizzas as backup….got the teens in da house too, so that will be fun.
Have fun, I’m going to, but more importantly, I’m going to try and win!
